SUMMERVILLE— A man was shot to death in the early morning hours of June 26.
Dorchester County Sheriff's deputies responded to a residence on Cone Lane around 3 a.m. to find Cody McDonald, 27, suffering from a gunshot wound, a news release states.
The deputies on the scene attempted life-saving measures until EMS arrived. At 4:20 a.m., the Dorchester County Coroner pronounced McDonald dead, according to the news release.
